High-speed processing and production
In order to achieve high stability and reliability, Spectronix has used its unique technology to combine a Gain switched operation of DFB-LD and hybrid fiber & bulk amplifiers. Compared to lasers of the same class, it is simpler and more compact. Using the 16W ultraviolet laser, it can drill and cut difficult-to-process materials such as reinforced glass and ceramics.
Contributing to minimizing downtime
The general mode-locked picosecond lasers require a large amount of running costs for long-term operation.
LDH-V1610 is equipped with a seed source which is a “Gain-switched” method DFB-LD.
Because of this, LDH-V1610 achieved low operating costs for long-term operation compared to general laser oscillators.
High pulse energy
Using a DFB laser can create high pulse energy such as 80μJ at 200kHz. LDH-V1610 is perfect for high-speed cutting and drilling.
Because the 355 nm UV picosecond laser is highly light-absorbent, it is able to perform high quality processing on materials that are difficult to cut for 1064nm or 532nm lasers.
